Demonstrating its continued commitment to meet customer needs, improve performance and follow high standard practices, real estate service provider First Gulf Properties (FGP), which specialises in end-to-end property solutions, has achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems certification following a rigorous evaluation process.
Established by the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001:2008 is a set of standards related to quality management systems and is designed to ensure that companies meet good management practices, policies and procedures, as well as the needs of their stakeholders.
Achieving the certification put FGP through its paces and saw the company undertake quality management system development, documentation review, gap analysis, internal audits and the pre-assessment and clearance of non-conformances, all of which ensure that FGP is working in line with international best practices and standards.
Jasim Al Ali, CEO of FGP, feels that achieving the certification is a pro-active step which anticipates customer expectations and highlights FGP’s commitment to providing the best possible service to its stakeholders, as he explains:
“Gaining this certification is a major achievement and we’re very pleased with the news. The fact that FGP has met ISO requirements after only being established since 2011 really shows that we’re heading in the right direction and gives both existing and potential customers the assurance that they’re in capable hands. This is a great way to start the new year and we’re looking forward to a very successful 2014."
