Rockwell Automation Middle East along with the US Chamber of Commerce organized the first ever Executive C-level event at the Rosewood Hotel, Abu Dhabi, UAE on 17 December 2014, themed around “Safeguarding IT and Automation Networks Against Potential Security Threats”.

The event was hosted by Middle East Director of Sales, Rockwell Automation Mr. Neil Enright and inaugurated by the Head of US Commercial Services Mr. Fred Aziz.

The event was a new initiative by Rockwell Automation centered around the idea of creating a forum where high level executives could exchange their ideas and challenges in the areas of Network & Security in Industrial Automation. Senior executives and decision makers from various industries such as infrastructure, metals & minerals, oil & gas, power generation and water wastewater participated.

Key experts from TruTech, Zamil Industries and Cisco shared insights and discussed topics pertaining to insider risk management, vulnerability of modern IT & automation systems at oil & gas sites, public cloud and next generation threat defense respectively.
