The Emirates Public Relations Association recently honored the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp). Represented by its CEO HE Mohammed Hasan Al Qemzi, ZonesCorp was recognized for its continued sponsorship of the Association’s activities during 2013.
The Association was represented by Morshid Al Shamsi, Board Member – Secretary, Salmeen Al Menhali, Board Member – General Director of the Association, and Tamim Al Tamimi, Board Member, while Othman Al Khouri, CEO of Corporate Support Unit at ZonesCorp, Abdulrahman Omar, Executive Vice President at ZonesCorp, Samer Al Haira, Vice President -Public Affairs at ZonesCorp, and Khalifa Yousif, Public Relations Coordinator at ZonesCorp, attended on behalf of ZonesCorp.
HE Al Qemzi said: "At first, I would like to thank the Emirates Public Relations Association for this generous gesture. The Emirates Public Relations Association was founded in Abu Dhabi in 2002 to coordinate the efforts of employees in the field of public relations and to further develop the profession. This is done through participating in conferences and events and organizing them as well as coordinating with government institutions and private companies to enhance cooperation in the implementation of public relations activities.
The Association’s volunteer work aims to support and develop the capacity of citizens through the provision of specialised training for them, and involving them in fieldwork. The Association also works on developing the skills of fresh graduates, as it has members from all institutions. In addition, it seeks to employ UAE Nationals to benefit from their skills and to place them in suitable positions after finalizing their theoretical and practical training. The association also works on enrolling its members in many specialised courses that increase their skills and work knowledge.
