Fire & Emergency Middle East In Line With The ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014

The Fire & Emergency Middle East (FEM) will be held under the platform of the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014). It will constitute a substantial space at the “ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014” which will take place from 1 to 3 April 2014 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre “ADNEC”.

The FEM is specialized in the field of emergency for the public and private sectors. It is sponsored by the General Headquarters of Civil Defense in the UAE, and a wide area has been allocated to exhibit the newest technologies, mechanisms and solutions for firefighting, protection and emergency medical services, as well as primary response and public safety.

Major General Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Civil Defense Acting General Commander-in-chief, said that the FEM aims at supporting the sector and providing an opportunity to learn about the newest products and developments that are exhibited by the specialized international companies in this sector, and building relationships between the participant companies and the consumers sector; as well as communication networks between the participants and exploring the latest in this sector.

He added that the exhibition focuses on professionals and workers in the field of public and private regional safety, in addition to consultants and decision-makers in the facilities, ports and vital infrastructure management; as well as government, municipalities and others. He also noted that this event is considered as a gate to the latest technologies and solutions in fighting fires, protection and emergency medical services, as well as relief and prevention of fires and public safety.

He stressed that the FEM is an important opportunity for industry experts in this sector, explaining that this event brings together an elite of the largest manufacturers of commercial and non-commercial products for the emergency sector enhancing cooperation, communication, sharing ideas and executing initiatives.

He added that the list of participant companies in the exhibition includes companies specialized in manufacturing cars and their equipment, firefighting equipment and fire teams equipment; companies specialized in environment protection, technical support, medical equipment and first aid and personal protection and identity identification equipment, as well as manufacturers of detection and measurements devices, manufacturers of control technology and engineering companies.

Several governmental and public entities are also taking part in the exhibition including the Ministry of Interior, local municipalities, industrial areas authorities, authorities in charge of the infrastructure and those of the airports and ports, authorities of oil and gas, engineering companies and protection experts.

It is worth mentioning that the International Exhibition for Security and National Resilience (ISNR Abu Dhabi 2014) is one of the most prominent landmarks on the agenda of international events in the field of security and safety in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

It provides decision-makers from both public and private sectors with the latest concepts of security and vital facilities protection technology, as well as readiness and response to emergencies and resilience.
