The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi is inviting guests to an exclusive evening celebrating the all-American tradition of Thanksgiving at its signature dining venue, 55&5th, The Grill.
On Thursday 28 November, discerning guests can revel in the timeless family traditions while feasting on a four course menu specially designed by Chef Lee Murdoch, featuring a sharing style main course with highlights of roast yellow chicken, sweet potato and brioche lobster stuffing. Visitors can pair the experience with a selection of American beverages recommended by the resident sommelier before indulging in a hot chocolate tart with caramel and hazelnut.
55&5th, The Grill, a classic New York-style grill and lounge is the resort’s award winning signature venue. Inspired by the address of the original St. Regis New York, the restaurant features a dedicated sommelier, jazz music and cigars, which are all perfected by bespoke service. For a more unique experience, the venue offers two private dining rooms which include The Loft, a newly-launched exclusive chef’s table.
Diners taking advantage of the private chef’s table will begin their evening in the lounge with a meet-and-greet with Chef Lee as well as the sommelier, before moving through to the private dining room and presented with the seasonal, exclusive menu created by the Chef. The menu will also be complemented with a selection of beverages by the resident sommelier. Each course will be explained in detail by Chef Lee, before inviting guests into the kitchen to experience the action behind the scenes and see the master at work.
