The security committee forthe 10th edition of the Al Ain Aerobatics Championship 2013 discussed the mechanisms and means of securing the events. Furthermore, the committee formulated plans for each event and distributed roles, tasks, and duties to the entities participating in the championship’s organization. The championship will be held at the Al AinInternational Airport from November 30th to December 2nd.
The committee held an expanded meeting with the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority at the conference hall in the Al Ain International Airport in the presence of all the championship’s organizers. The attendees discussed the entries and exits of participants and visitors in addition to the parking spaces in order to enhance the smooth flow of traffic during the championship. This championship attracts a considerable audience, which strengthensthe prominent position of Al Ainand the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi is among the favorite tourist destinations in the region. The meeting embodies the commitment of the Abu Dhabi Police to boost security given that the UAE is a country with significant security and safety.
After the meeting, Colonel Ahmed Ali Al Shehhi, Chief of the Special Tasks and Celebrations Section at the Al Ain Directorate toured the event site to review the most important preparations for this international event. Colonel Al Shehhi wasaccompanied by Mohammed Al Zaabi, who is in charge of the partner affairs at the Events Office of the Abu Dhabi Tourism andCulture Authority and the attendees.
