Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Distribution (ADNOC Distribution), the leading Abu Dhabi-based petrochemical company, has announced its participation at Dubai Airshow 2013, the leading aerospace event in the Middle East.
Drawing the participation of aviation companies from around the world, the biennial show has positioned itself on the global calendar as a landmark event in the regional aviation sector. The five-day show, which will take off on November 17 this year, will be held for the first time at the city’s new million Al-Maktoum International Airport - set to become the world’s largest when completed in 2027. More than 1,000 exhibitors and 60,000 visitors have already registered for the event.
Underlining its presence at the prestigious show, ADNOC Distribution will highlight its role as a strategic supplier of high quality aviation fuels and services that conform to international specifications and standards. Jet A-1, JP-8, and AVGAS 100LL are among the aviation fuels it supplies.
Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, said: “Dubai Airshow has firmly established itself as a key event on the international aerospace calendar. ADNOC Distribution will also leverage the platform of the Dubai Airshow to promoteADNOC Distribution Aviation Services (ADAS), its key business unit mandated to ensure that fuels are refined to meet the highest international specifications for jet fuels and manage fuel volumes to meet fluctuating customer needs. ADAS operates state-of-the-art fuelling facilities across the UAE and currently supplies aviation fuels to more than 70 regional and international customers.
