Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has received the ‘Best Commercial High-Rise Development Abu Dhabi’title at the prestigious International Property Awards 2013 for its distinctively designed Capital Gate tower.

The award was presented to Saif Al Rashedi, Director at ADNEC, at a ceremony that took place at the Royal Mirage Hotel, Dubai

The award marks another successful milestone in a celebratory year forthe ADNEC Group thatincludes the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centreand Al Ain Convention Centre, a unique architectural centre in the garden city of Al Ain, and ExCeL London, the UK capital’s largest exhibition centre. ADNEC has to date scooped a total of10 distinguished industry awards in 2013.

The International Property Awards were launched in 1995 to acknowledge the contributions of distinguished residential and commercial property professionals worldwide, in addition to recognising outstanding achievements by organisations in the property and real-estate sector.

Another notable recent win saw ADNEC named‘Exhibition Venue of the Year’ at the Event Awards in London. Recognising and applauding the creative exhibition and experiential sectors of the international live events industry, the Event Awards are one of the most important industry accolades in the world.ADNEC was awarded the title based on the diversity of events it has hosted during the year, growth in the number of events and attendance, and itssuccess in taking an event to greater heights.

ADNEC’s distinguished industry honours in2013include theMiddle East’s Leading Exhibition & Convention Centre from the World Travel Awards,Best Middle East Exhibition in the trade /consumer category for IDEX in the Middle East Events Awards, Best Meetings & Conference Centre in the Middle East for the Al Ain Convention Centre at Business Destinations 2013 Travel Awards, and Best Commercial High Rise Development at the Arabian Property Awards 2013 for the Capital Gate tower.

During 2013, ExCeL London received four highly-coveted industry awards,including Europe’s Leading Meetings & Conferences Centre at the World Travel Awards, Best Purpose Built Conference Venue at the Conference Venue & Suppliers Awards, the Gold category Business Tourism Award at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, and Business Superbrandin the Business Tourism Awards.

In addition, ADNEC received a golden award fromTatweej Academy Excellence for its outstanding events management.
