Emirates Post has issued a commemorative stamp on the Abu Dhabi International Triathlon, a major sporting event that attracts some of the world’s best Triathlon competitors and champions from over 50 countries.

The stamp has been issued in single denomination of AED 3, along with a First Day Cover of AED 4. The new stamp is available at all main post offices in the UAE.

The Abu Dhabi International Triathlon, organized by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, is divided into three courses -- a long flagship course of 223 km consisting of 3 km continuous swimming, 200 km of cycling and 20 km of running; a short course consisting of 1.5 km of swimming, 100 km of cycling, 10 km of running and a fast course consisting of 750 metres of swimming, 50 km of cycling and 5 km of running.
