The Al Ain Special Tasks Section affiliated to the Directorate General of Guards and Special Tasks of Abu Dhabi Police celebrated on Thursday the graduation of 12 staff members after completing a first aid course. The course, organized by the Emergency and Public safety Department, included diverse lectures on the means to handle minor, medium and serious injuries and to provide aid to the injured.
Participants received practical training on the appropriate ways to administer first aid to individuals with cardiovascular problems, diabetes and cases of suffocation. As part of the course, participants were trained on the means to handle injured people in cases of disasters and infectious disease outbreaks.
Colonel Ahmed Ali Al Shehhi, Chief of the Special Tasks Section of Al Ain emphasized the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters’ commitment and keenness to provide support for police staff members, by organizing courses that hone the skills of police personnel.
Al Shehhi praised the efforts of the course’s participants and their diligent efforts to constantly interact with all activities and training programs organized by the police leadership; wishing them further success in their careers. He also commended the efforts of the Emergency and Public Safety Department to guarantee the academic success of the course.
At the end of the ceremony, the event’s sponsor distributed certificates to the graduates.
