Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, honored three distinguished police stations in his office on Tuesday. The three stations, which achieved the first three positions in the overall police evaluation for 2012, consisted of Masfah and Khalifa City A stations in Abu Dhabi, and Al Marbaa station in Al Ain.

HH distributed gratitude and appreciation certificates along with commemorative shields for the three positions; this recognition is a result of the work enhancement and the development of concepts of excellence in performance and services.

He stressed that the application of excellence concepts should be continued as per the latest scientific practices that preserve the modern image of the Abu Dhabi Police under the strategies and methodologies stemming from the Abu Dhabi Plan 2030.

HH advised on the necessity of teamwork in addition to the increase of coordination between police and security authorities to enhance police and security work.

The Security Information Department chose the three winning stations based on the evaluation of weekly reports and different evaluation standards.

The celebration was attended by Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Sha’far, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Interior; Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Major General Mohammed bin Al Awadhi Al Menhali, Director General of Police Operations at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director - General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Brigadier Amir Al Muhairi, Deputy Director General of Police Operations; Brigadier Maktoum Al Shareefi, Director of the Capital Police Directorate; Brigadier Hamad Ajlan Al Amimi, Director of the Al Ain Police Directorate; Colonel Sheikh Mohammad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Director of Peripheral Regions Directorate at Abu Dhabi Police; and Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Minister of Interior.
