Abu Dhabi Airports today announced the opening of the new Lamborghini Travel Retail StoreinAbu Dhabi International Airport’s Terminal 1.

For the first time in the world, Italian automaker Lamborghini is offering a retail product range including men’s, women’s and children’sclothing, key chains, caps, model toys and towels, with prices ranging from AED 150 to AED 650. The pop-up store, which officially opened on 3rdOctober 2013,also features a Maquette Murcielago - the most photographed car at the Lamborghini museum, which was flown in directly from Bologna, Italy.

Mohammed Al Bulooki, Chief Commercial Officer at Abu Dhabi Airportscommented: “The launch of the first Lamborghini retail store in the world at Abu Dhabi International Airport demonstrates the commitment of both Abu Dhabi Airports and DFS to providing passengers with a unique travel experience and world-class facilities.”

Abu Dhabi Duty Freeis committed to enhancing customer satisfaction by continually evaluating the retail mix and ensuring that the brand mix meets both business and leisure passengers’ expectations. It currently offers a wide selection of brands and guarantees authenticity of products with special signature buys at great value.A variety of unique, value-added services are also on offer atAbu Dhabi International Airport including “Shop & Collect”, free gift wrapping services and free WiFi. The “Shop & Collect” service allows passengers to shop on departure and leave items to be picked up on arrival right next to the baggage reclaim area.

The Midfield Terminal Building (MTB), to be the new home of Abu Dhabi Duty Free in 2017, has been designed to cater to over 30 million passengers a year and will provide an added retail and F&B space of 28,000 square metres for the future Abu Dhabi duty free.
