ATIC’s 13th Edition Tech Quest Program Opens Registration for UAE National Students
(26 October 2013)

As part of an on-going program to develop the UAE’s future engineers and technologists, Tech Quest, an Advanced Technology Investment Company (ATIC) student outreach initiative, opens registration to all UAE National students from grade 9 to 12 and extends its 13th learning program to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region. Through challenging and engaging programs, Tech Quest reinforces core leadership, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills that will be key to the students’ long-term success.

“We look forward to another edition of recruiting, inspiring and developing national talent in science and technology,” said Hanan Harhara, Head of Human Capital at ATIC. “Tech Quest is a fun program for students to make new friends, develop new skills and brings science to life. We are confident that the program will help shape students’ way of thinking and approach towards preparing for an education and career in science, technology engineering and mathematics (STEM). It is a great opportunity to meet with industry professionals and learn from them.”

On the opening day of the program in December, over 200 UAE national students in grades 9 to 12 are expected to gather throughout the UAE to experience a series of hands-on STEM activities and soft-skill development workshops. The 10-day program simultaneously kicks off on December 15th in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and three areas in the Western Region territory including Madinat Zayed, Gayathi and Al Mirfa.
