The Ministry of Interior’s pilgrimage mission returned to the country after performing Hajj rituals this year. It included 155 pilgrims who are employees of the ministry. A delegation from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi welcomed the MoI’s mission with flowers and gifts upon their safe return.
This initiative is a part of the attention paid by the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, which interacts with society at events.
Brigadier Hamad Adeel Al Shamesi, Head of the Permanent Committee for Pilgrimage (Hajj) and Umrah in the Ministry of Interior, said: “The police leadership is committed to following up with the mission during Hajj rituals until its return. The mission performed Hajj rituals along with a group of executives, doctors, and Imams to supervise the Hajj rituals, provide healthcare, and guarantee comfort.”
The participants in the Hajj pilgrimage extended their gratitude to the Higher Leadership that enabled a large number of MoI’s members to embark on the pilgrimage. They stressed that this noble initiative is not the first; MoI members have always been given the best attention within every field.
