Al Ain Zoo welcomed visitors from across the UAE and neighbouring countries to experience an exciting array of performances and activities celebrating Eid Al Adha. Guests from the region indulged in the activities that kicked off on the first day of Eid, an ideal time for visitors to experience the zoo with the animals growing increasingly interactive as temperatures drop.
Al Ain Zoo presented a wide range of educational and cultural activities on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. In addition to African, Asian and Middle Eastern dance performances, guests participated in a drumming activity where the drummers encouraged enthusiastic visitors to join, enjoyed performances of the bird and parrot show, and were the first public audience to witness the crocodiles being fed by their trainers.
The zoo continues to welcome visitors to experience the diversity of wildlife and the variety of activities that will make for an unforgettable Eid holiday for guests of all ages. For those with an appetite, Al Ain Zoo offers an array of choices for refreshments and a light bite at the new Flamingino Café as well as at Zarafa Café. Families are greeted with their favourite zoo characters at the main entrance, and can enjoy the Ahlan VIP service for a comprehensive zoo experience.
Visitors can also photograph the recently-announced newborn giraffe and hippopotamus, which have just been moved to public display, in addition to the Cat House exhibit, which features lions, tigers and cheetahs.
