The Abu Dhabi Civil Defense GHQ organized a one-day blood donation campaign, in collaboration with the Regional Blood Bank. This campaign, which is part of the Civil Defense GHQ’s efforts, embodies the Ministry of Interior’s strategy and its role in serving the local community. It also comes in line with the directorate general’s efforts to support humanitarian activities in the country and help in saving the life of many patients who need blood transfusion, and in cases of accidents and emergencies.
Moreover, the campaign reflects the Civil Defense GHQ’s keenness to promote societal participation, and spread the health education among its staff members and customers. It also embodies the Ministry of Interior’s strategy and its role in the service of the local community
The campaign witnessed significant turnout from officers, non-commissioned officers and constables and civilians working at the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense GHQ; and a total of 100 donations were collected.
