KidsFest Talent is just one of the many competitions taking place at ‘KidsFest’, the biggest family festival to ever take place over Eid Al Adha.

Kidsfest Talent is the biggest ‘Search for a Star’ competition Abu Dhabi has ever seen. It is open to anyone aged 5-15 who has a talent they are willing to share on the main stage – Vocalists, musicians, dancers, magicians, comedians, circus acts, bands, choirs…

The event run by Global Event Management and Zayed Sports City is receiving tens of registrations every day from youngsters hoping to win the coveted title and prizes worth a staggering 10,000AED

Also of great excitement is the announcement of the finale-judging panel, which includes West End theatre star Lucy Hunter-James, star of the award-winning The Sound of Music, Oliver! Blood Brothers and Annie, DJ’s from Radio 2 and renowned presenter, Radio Children’s Entertainment professional Chris Fisher.

KidsFest Talent follows on from the inaugural KidsFest Talent Dubai which saw talented vocalist 13 year old Callum Bell win the title. KidsFest Talent aims to give its performing artists a platform to share their talents and increase their visibility in a city where the entertainment industry is developing rapidly. James Magee of Global Event Management said “This is the very best platform for the talented youth of Abu Dhabi to shine and an incredible opportunity for the people of the city to witness the immense and varied talent they live amongst. This year the prize for the winner is very exciting –they receive the title of ‘KidsFest Talent Grand Winner 2013’ and the coveted trophy but in addition we also have 10,000AED worth of prizes… we cannot wait to crown our winner.”

Youngsters wishing to enter the talent show need to fill out a simple registration form which can be found at the official KidsFest website www.kidsfestabudhabi.com and also upload a video of their talent onto the KidsFest Abu Dhabi Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/KidsFestUAE . From here, if successful, they will be asked to appear on stage at the opening day (18th October)… this stage will see the competition choose its finalists who will appear in the ‘Grand Final’ on the 19th. The winner will be announced by the judges after all finalists have performed.
