Offering a hop-on, hop-off facility to a variety of attractions, yas express continues to enhance the sightseeing experience by connecting visitors to Yas Island’s leisure and entertainment; enabling visitors to enjoy their time on Yas Island, hassle free.

Extremely pleased with the figures so far, Karim El Guanaini, Vice President Yas Island Destination Management commented: “We have received a total of 37,950 passengers on the yas express over seven months and strongly encouraging signs of increase in the number of passengers of the Saadiyat route, in the two months the route has been opened, an outstanding achievement for such a short duration.”

Recording a monthly passenger average of 5,421 for Yas express, El Guanaini added when asked what the winning formula was: “In the end it’s all about meeting the needs of your market. As more and more attractions are launched on the Island, there is more for tourists to see, thus we have met this demand by adding this complimentary service.”

Creating connectivity between all the attractions, the two existing routes currently include stops at YasWaterworld, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Plaza Hotels, Yas Viceroy Hotel, Yas Central, St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi; enabling guests the opportunity to explore the plethora of leisure and entertainment attractions on offer.

As the entire Island offering continues to take shape, various stages of the service continue to evolve.
