Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi’s wave river turned into a yellow race track with the participation of more than 2,000 rubber ducks at the Yas Waterworld Duck Race this morning. The event was held at the UAE’s first mega waterpark in collaboration with Make-A-WishFoundation, the nonprofit foundation that grants the wishes of children between the ages of 3-18 living with life-threatening medical conditions.
Each with a serial number accompanied by a corresponding duck-cutout receipt, the ducks were dropped into the Yadi Yas wave river.At the end of the race, the owner of the winning duck took home two annual passes to Yas Waterworld and tickets to Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and other prizes.

Since it was started in 2010, the UAE chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation has granted more than 700 wishes to children, bringing joy to the kids and their families through its impressive and dedicated work.
