Abu Dhabi’s first standalone luxury shopping destination – is pleased to announce that it is hosting the ‘Andor Art Exhibition’ with paintings by the artist and sculptor Andor, who was born in Hungary. The impressive pieces will be on display from 25th September until 8th October 2013.
Internationally recognised, artist Andor has sold millions of his prints worldwide. Inspired by fantasy, his portfolio captures a combination of colours expressing energy, his love of nature and the universe.
After working around the world including, Hungary, Germany, New York, Hollywood, Switzerland and Dubai, Andor has acquired a taste for many cultures. For three years he lived in Sweden where he worked on the remarkable project of painting the Royal Family. His portfolio of honourable beauty and talent contributed to the exclusive official commission to paint King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia for their 25th Wedding Anniversary- he later personally presented the piece to them at the Stockholm Palace.
The masterpiece of the exhibition is focused on his portrait of His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council. It takes centre stage at the exhibition in AVENUE AT ETIHAD TOWERS.
The ‘Andor Art Exhibition’ marks the fifth exhibition to be held at the luxury shopping destination, reflecting its role as a centre for both fine and applied arts in Abu Dhabi, and further enhancing its commitment to hosting exhibitions and cultural activities.
The ‘Andor Art Exhibition’ will be on display daily from 25th September until 8th October 2013 at AVENUE AT ETIHAD TOWERS.
