Colonel Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Bakr, Acting Director of the Federal Police School inaugurated three specialized courses, namely, the Intermediate Leadership Course No. 50, the Senior Leadership Course No. 71, and the Basic Criminal Investigation Course. The courses, organized by the Abu Dhabi Police’s Officers Training Institute at the Federal Police College in Sharjah, will continue for two months.
Dr. Al Bakr indicated that these courses are in pursuance of the training plan adopted at the Ministry of Interior, to develop leadership and specialized skills of the targeted officers, commensurate with training needs. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ahmed Al Khuzaimi, Director of the Officers Training Institute.
On the same note, the Federal Police School celebrated the graduation of the “Creative Thinking Course” No. 15 and the “Problems Solving Course” for female staff members, with the participation of 18 female participants from different directorates general and departments at the Ministry of Interior.
During the courses, the participants were acquainted with the concepts and principles of creative and innovative skills, the main features and capabilities of creative personality, as well as the distinctive characteristics of creative thinking. The course also tackled the stages of creative thinking, methods of developing creative capabilities, in addition to constraints affecting creative thinking and how to overcome them. It also focused on exercises to measure and develop creative skills and the means to overcome obstacles that impede creativity.
