Al Ain Zoo will be participating in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX), to be held from 4th to 7th September 2013 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The zoo’s corporate exhibition stand will be located under the Promotion & Preservation of Cultural Heritage section as team members aim to educate visitors about sustainable coexistence with desert wildlife.
Commenting on the participation, Acting Chief Conservation and Education at Al Ain Zoo,said:
“At Al Ain Zoo we understand the importance of enlightening the public about conservation and encouraging others to share our commitment to it, particularly when in relation to endangered species. Al Ain Zoo is home to conservation programmes that are significant and strategic at a global level, focusing on the wildlife of the world’s arid regions, and the efforts of the zoo’s Education Centre offer people various means to learn more about these initiatives.
ADIHEX is a unique platform for us to reach out to the public and cultivate a knowledge culture about the environment, and we look forward to engaging visitors in this theme at our stand.”
As part of its commitment to arid wildlife conservation, Al Ain Zoo’s experienced Education Centre personnel and conservation team will be on hand to inform visitors about the zoo’s comprehensive education programmes and conservation activities. The exhibition further presents a platform for knowledge-sharing and awareness between exhibitors, with various entities from the field of veterinary and pharmaceutical products and services also exhibiting.
Al Ain Zoo will also be sharing updates about latest attractions and offeringentertaining experiences including the Bird Show and Parrot Show, which will be available in Hall 12.
The zoo’s corporate exhibition stand will be located in hall 9, stand 9E49, under the Promotion & Preservation of Cultural Heritage sector
