In a ceremony held on Wednesday at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, Major General Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior honored 48 retired staff members of the Abu Dhabi Police. Attended the honoring ceremony were Major General Khalil Dawood Badran, Director General of Finance and Services at the Abu Dhabi Police GHQ, Head of the Retirees Honoring Committee at the Ministry of Interior; and Brigadier General Ali Obeid Al Darmaki, Director of Personnel at the General Department of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi Police.
Major General Al Nuaimi addressed the retired officers, conveying the greetings of Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior. Moreover, Al Nuaimi hailed their efforts and dedication during their tenure in the police force, underscoring the country’s Higher Leadership’s keenness to take care and honor retirees. He asserted that retirement is not the end of a journey, but the beginning of a new phase in the line of national duty.
Al Nuaimi also lauded the sincere efforts exerted by the retired officers, their dedicated work, and their extraordinary competence during their years of service. He also stated that their years of service are marked by their efficient and effective perseverance and performance in discharging the tasks entrusted to them.
For their part, the retirees expressed their happiness for this generous gesture from HH the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior that evidences His Highness’ keenness towards police personnel, both working and retired.
