ALDAR Properties PJSC, the leading integrated property development, investment and management company, today announced the signing of an agreement with Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts for the operation of an upscale resort hotel in the Al Seef precinct on the highly anticipated and sought after Al Raha Beach development.

This is the second hotel property to be developed and built by ALDAR as part of a strategic alliance between the two companies which includes the development of three hotels in Abu Dhabi on ALDAR projects. This particular hotel will be an island resort with 300 rooms in the residential precinct of Al Seef, in Al Raha Beach. The first hotel to be developed as part of the deal concluded in 2007 is a 500-room luxury hotel on Yas Island which is due to open in late 2010.

Al Seef will have a variety of contemporary apartments, family townhouses and prestigious villas. converging onto a boardwalk promenade, and each embracing first class architecture. Al Seef precinct will contain waterfront and island properties and will have direct beach access

In addition to the upscale Movenpick Hotel ,Al Raha Beach Abu Dhabi, Al Seef will also have courtyard summer houses, designer boutiques, dining precincts and rejuvenating spas along with, a multitude of outdoor water sport activities which will be offered on this precinct. Aside from the canal-side eateries, residents can shop along the Boulevard or the Arabesque Retail Terrace, relax in the Floral Gardens, or spend quality time in the Palm Court. Al Seef precinct is well equipped with specialist areas designed to provide entertainment, host civic events or cater for social gatherings.
