In a specialized workshop, the Strategy and Performance Development Department at the Naturalization and Residency Sector discussed enhancements as per the Corporate Excellence Standards. The workshop was organized by the Sharjah Police School in line with the preparations for the HH Minister of Interior Excellence Award. It was attended by representatives of the Directorate General of Naturalization, Directorate General of Resources and Support Services, and General Directorates of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah.

The workshop is in line with the implementation of the Ministry of Interior’s strategy and the directives of Police Leadership to spread the culture of excellence. It is also in line with the police aspirations to catalyze staff in the private and public sectors to achieve excellence and creativity, build their positive attitude towards the public, and encourage them to adhere to the law and general safety conditions. In addition, the workshop aims to promote cooperation between the police institution and the community.

Colonel Dr. Abdullah Abdulrahman, Head of Strategy and Performance Development Department, touched upon the mechanism of development planning and including the mentioned points for enhancement in follow up reports issued by external assessment committees. This aims to promote the sector’s participation in the third session of HH Minister of Interior Excellence Award, as a step in supporting the participation of the ministry in the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Program.
