Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, received Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Port Affairs, in his office on Monday. Major General Al Khaili remitted to His Highnesstwo excellence certificates obtained by the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi. The directorate received the first certificate for ranking among the top five governmental agencies for its excellent performance and its participation in the Call Center System, which handled more than 1,000 cases in 2012. The second acknowledgement is the Kaizen Certificate, which was extended to the directorate for its continuous improvement in management systems. Notably, the directorate was awarded the Kaizen Certificate after fulfilling the international requirements and standards related to the continuous improvement of performance and effective management thought processes, and developing work systems and effective decision-making guidelines that maintain the integrity of performance and scalability.
His Highness listened to a briefing from the team about the efforts made by the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi in terms of the mechanisms for receiving complaints, suggestions, and enquiries, and successfully responding to them.
On the same note, His Highness congratulated the team on their great achievement, urging them towards further excellence and development in various work fields, especially with regard to customer service and providing the best services to the public according to international standards and best practices.
The two meetings were attended by Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Director General of the Headquarters Affairs at Abu Dhabi Police; Colonel Salem Ali Al Zaabi, Abu Dhabi Residency and Foreigners Affairs Director General; Colonel Saud Al Saadi, Director of the Secretariat of the Office of His Highness the Minister; Colonel Salem Mohamed Al Ameri, Director of the Foreign Offices Department; Colonel Saeed Salem Al Shamsi, Director of Information and Follow-up Department; Lieutenant Colonel IssaQambar Al Mazem, Director of Resources and Support Services; and Lieutenant Colonel Jamal Hareb Al Zaabi, Head of Entry and Residency Permit Department at the Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Abu Dhabi, as well as a number of senior officers.
