Mansour, the Emirati cartoon about a young boy with big dreams he shares with his friends and family, is coming to Summerfest Abu Dhabi, as brand new episodes are simultaneously aired across the UAE during Ramadan.

Created to engage with young people and strengthen their ties to their families and national identity, Mansour incorporates important issues facing the region’s next generation, such as education, health and culture, into compelling storylines designed to captivate their imagination.

Mansour will have an exciting interactive stand at Summerfest Abu Dhabi, which is being held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from June 27 to August 17, 2013. Visitors to the Mansour stand will have the chance to meet Mansour and his friends, watch new Mansour adventures and get creative by drawing their favourite characters.

Realizing the importance of reading, visitors to Mansour’s stand will have the opportunity to enjoy short stories for children between 5 - 12 years read and distributed by Saqer, Mansour’s grandfather. In addition to screenings of Mansour, the interactive stand offers a number of entertaining and educational games designed to hone children’s creative thinking and technical abilities including cartoon aircraft, showcased by Khaled, Mansour’s father. Children will compete in building and installing aircrafts fostering an appreciation for engineering, science and technology.

Following the successful launch of Mansour on UAE TV networks in January, 13 new exciting episodes are coming to Abu Dhabi TV and Sama Dubai during Ramadan, airing simultaneously on both networks daily.
