ADNEC Gears Up To Host Series Of Events During Holy Month Of Ramadan
(2 July 2013)

Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (ADNEC) is gearing up for the Holy Month of Ramadan with preparations in full swing to host a series of activities at the multi-use, full-service venues in Abu Dhabi.

The Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre’s Al Maa’red and Hall 12 will be dedicated to corporate events for up to 4,000 guests. The facility’s renowned chefs will create an exquisite menu featuring international and Middle Eastern cuisine for the Iftar and Suhoor meals.

Humaid Matar Al Dhaheri, Chief Commercial Officer at ADNEC, said: “At ADNEC, we seek to provide our stakeholders with an exclusive venue and world-class services that complement the activities around the Holy Month of Ramadan. The halls that are spread over an approximate 8,000 sq. metres of space will serve as a suitable venue for corporate and business networking events even while the facility’s traditional ambiance will reflect the mood of the month.

“During the Holy Month, ADNEC will also be home to two popular entertainment events: Summer Festival Abu Dhabi and the Ramadan and Eid Festival. Hosting these large scale entertainment events that appeal to the community at large reaffirms the capacity of the advanced infrastructure and integrated offerings at ADNEC. We are keen to regularly attract and create a variety of entertainment properties for the community, particularly families.”

Summer Festival Abu Dhabi, organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, is one of ADNEC’s key events during the summer months and will run from 27 June – 17 August. The event will feature a line-up of over 98 live international and local shows including Bananas in Pyjamas, Sesame Street, as well as Freej and Cartoon Network hits.

This year’s edition of the Ramadan and Eid Festival will brighten up ADNEC’s venue from 21 July – 11 August. Open to the community at large from 8:00pm to 1:30am, the festival will feature kiosks offering unique gifting options and traditional Arabic food. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of games and leisure rides.

For added convenience, complementary parking spaces will be available to guests during the Holy Month of Ramadan at ADNEC.
