The National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) is planning to pump nearly Dh35 million into projects to develop the Intercontinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi, including the construction of a Lebanese restaurant and SPA.
NCTH said the expansions would be completed in the fourth quarter of 2013 and would largely contribute to upgrading services to guests from the UAE, the other GCC countries, and the whole world.
“The NCTH has already completed some key projects to add five-star entertainment facilities to the Intercontinental Hotel to match the tourism boom in the emirate,” said HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific research, chairman of NCTH.
