Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Services (PLMS), a part of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), is organising an awareness campaign. The campaign aims to highlight the significant role of laboratory professionals in the diagnosis of health problems and the subsequent delivery of holistic treatment and patient care.
Scheduled to run from 26-30 May across SEHA’s facilities in Abu Dhabi, the PLMS campaign will include Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Mafraq Hospital, Al Rahba Hospital, Al Ain Hospital, Tawam Hospital Corniche Hospital, Ambulatory Health Services,as well as Al Gharbia hospitals. Healthcare
The campaign will host various activities, including the presentation of a short documentary on the services provided by PLMS. Free glucose testing and free consultations will also be offered to visitors to the participating hospitals, in addition to the distribution of brochures to raise awareness on the campaign and the role of PLMS. A customer satisfaction survey will be conducted to ascertain what patient needs are, and in order to evaluate the labs’ performance.
