FLASH Entertainment and Feld Motor Sports® presented an evening of high octane Monster Jam excitement at Zayed Sports City Stadium last night with a thrilling mix of monster truck racing and freestyle stunts, quad bike racing and FMX motocross. Thousands of fans young and not so young packed into the stadium to see ten trucks - including 11-time World Finals Champion legendary Max D with driver Tom Meents and arch-rival Grave Digger, driven by Carl Van Horn - go pedal to the metal in the first ever Monster Jam World Tour event to be held in the GCC.

Carl Van Horn left the crowd speechless with a perfect display of freestyle stunts that made the 4.5 tonne Grave Digger® look positively graceful, while also destroying all competition in the knockout racing tournament.

Thousands of man hours went into planning and pulling off one of the UAE’s most exciting shows of the year, with the FLASH, Feld Motor Sports® and Zayed Sports City teams working together seamlessly to transform the stadium into a playground for Monster Jam trucks, ship the trucks half way across the world, and welcome the fans to this one of a kind event.

Earlier in the afternoon, fans walked the course, met the stars of the show, and took a close look at the 4 meter tall trucks during the Pit Party, a Monster Jam tradition that lets everyone dream of being a monster truck driver. One lucky truck owner who is closer than most to that ambition was Salem Al Ali, the winner of FLASH’s competition for the best customized truck in the UAE, who will fly to Amsterdam with Etihad Airways to see the Monster Jam in the Netherlands, courtesy of the event organizers.

With the stadium needing to be transformed back to its pristine pre-event state, the organizers worked long into the night and all day today – leaving only thousands of over excited children (of all ages) breathless and waiting for the next Monster Jam Abu Dhabi.

FLASH Entertainment has recently announced the first concert of the new season, with tickets for Rihanna on sale from www.ticketmaster.ae.
