Sustainability and efforts to promote environmental conservation have proven to be the big winners at Emaar’s annual Garden Competition, organised by Emaar Community Management.
Open to residents of Emaar’s communities – Emirates Living and Arabian Ranches – winners of the competition placed an immense focus on sustainability and environment conservation, in addition to garden completion, at the annual feat.
Aimed at bringing Emaar’s focus on sustainable developments to the residents of its various communities, the Garden Competition continues to be the much-awaited community-centric event in the Emaar Community Management’s calendar.
Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director, Emaar Properties PJSC, said: “Since its inception, Emaar has been committed to sustainable development, a practice that is resonated across its various communities. The annual Garden Competition serves as the perfect platform for our residents to join Emaar in taking up this cause that not only promotes camaraderie among residents and raises the aesthetic appeal of the communities, but contributes to a greater good.”
The competition was held in the categories of Best Landscaped Large Garden, Best Landscaped Small Garden, Best Creative Large Garden, Best Creative Small Garden, and Best Sustainable Garden (Eco-friendly). The winners are:
Best Landscaped Large Garden: Babar Zaheer Ud Din - The Meadows, Emirates Living
Best Landscaped Small Garden: Morne & Oana Fourie – The Lakes, Emirates Living
Best Creative Small Garden: Elan Fabbri – Saheel, Arabian Ranches
Best Creative Large Garden: Captain Jugwinder Singh Brar – Mirador La Coleccion, Arabian Ranches
Best Sustainable Garden (Eco-friendly): Gerald & Cornelia Twarloh – Palmera, Arabian Ranches
The winners and finalists were presented with crystal trophies and vouchers from The Dubai Mall.
