Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri, Emirates ID Director General, has announced that the Emirates ID intends to launch an award for scientific research.

Al Khouri clarified that by launching this award, the Emirates ID aims at contributing to providing the best technological applications, developing the modern applications provided by the public and private organizations in the UAE and ensuring the participation of the individuals of the society in formulating and developing these applications.

Earlier, the Emirates ID published many researches and papers in various dedicated journals and periodicals worldwide as part of its bid to enhance the scientific research culture and contribute to disseminating scientific knowledge.

The Emirates ID also established a section for researches and studies on its website. The section is concerned with publishing the scientific researches and dedicated papers with which the Emirates ID participates in global conferences.

As part of its strategic plan 2010-2013, the Emirates ID focused on the aspects related to investment in national human resources and launched many initiatives to support its employees and encourage them to seek continuous learning in implementation of the institutional excellence methodology which it adopts and which pays special attention to the process of developing employees in terms of knowledge and academic studies to enable them to excel and be distinguished and innovative.
