Following its success in the United States, the renowned interior decorating program, The Nate Berkus Show, will air for the first time for MENA audiences on Abu Dhabi Al Oula from April 11th this year.
Complete with Arabic subtitles, the program will air on the channel every Thursday and Friday at 7.00pm UAE time, for an hour of top design, decorating and interior advice from one of the world’s leading interior designers, Nate Berkus.
The show will entertain and inform viewers on a range of topics from the world of decoration and design, teaching them how to add simple yet beautiful touches to their homes. The program aims to help viewers improve their own home design; with helpful tips and information direct from the expert, inspiring viewers to make their homes a more appealing place to live.
Berkus began his career in interior design at an early age, influenced by his mother who was also a decorator. After graduating from Lake Forest College, Berkus secured a career at the renowned Leslie Hindman auction house, as well as an internship with Dominique Aarinc in Paris. In 2002, he became a regular guest on the Oprah Winfrey show, which launched him into the spotlight and encouraged him to publish his first book in 2005.
The Nate Berkus Show won a Day Time Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction/ Set Decoration/Scenic Design for a Drama Series in 2002, and has also been nominated for numerous other awards in previous years.
Tune into the show every Thursday and Friday at 7pm on Abu Dhabi Al Oula, starting April 11th 2013.
