The National newspaper, Abu Dhabi Media’s leading English-language newspaper, has launched a series of engaging educational events for readers, to be held regularly throughout the year.
Covering a range of topics popular with readers, ’A Night with The National’ provides audiences the opportunity to be informed, entertained and enriched while interacting with editors and staff of The National.
With its wide outreach, the National connects with both UAE nationals and expatriates across the UAE, covering the latest news, business, sport, lifestyle, arts and culture and opinion. For each event The National will draw from its team of world-class journalists to provide expert insight and opinion.
The ‘A Night with The National’ series begins this week, with the inaugural event - a photography workshop on March 27th where a select group of readers will join Brian Kerrigan, Editor from The National’s award-winning photo desk, for a night walk in Abu Dhabi, photographing the city’s nightlife. Participants will get to try the newly released Fujifilm X100S and will be guided technically and artistically to capture quality images. The best images snapped during the workshop will be featured in the pages of The National.
Plans are also now underway for the next events in the series, which include fashion and art related events, as well as a cooking demonstration.
“The National is committed to engaging our community of sophisticated readers, and sharing the knowledge of our many talented editors and reporters across a variety of topics,” commented Hassan Fattah, Editor-in-Chief of The National.
“We hope ‘A Night with The National’ will give back to our readers, catering to their interests and sparking continued dialog with the paper. We encourage readers to participate in the latest events by checking the paper or following us on Facebook to learn more.”
Leading the region in analytical content and comment, The National is setting a new standard for quality journalism in the Middle East.
