Last night, Sting, joined by a 5-piece band, performed to thousands of fans at the du Arena, Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. With band mates including longtime guitarist Dominic Miller, Vinnie Colaiuta (drums), David Sancious (keyboards) Peter Tickell (electric fiddle), and Jo Lawry (vocals), Sting entertained with hit after hit on a beautiful evening on Yas Island.

The world-renowned musician opened the night with one of his most famous singles, If I Ever Lose My Faith In You, and continued to wow the Abu Dhabi audience with classics including Shape Of My Heart, Roxanne, Englishman In New York and Desert Rose. The Abu Dhabi audience was mesmerized for over two hours, enjoying a mixture from Sting¹s solo career and classics from his time as the front man of one of the world¹s most popular bands, The Police. In the end, he left the audience wanting more, with Every Breath You Take.

Next up at the du Arena will be Andrea Bocelli performing on March 22nd as part of the du World Music Festival in association with Samsung. The great solist will be followed on 28th March by Guns N¹ Roses also performing as part of the du World of Music Festival in association with Samsung. The final show of the FLASH concert season at the du Arena, will see the world’s most influential hard rock band Metallica return once again to Abu Dhabi on April 19th.
