Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), today announced that the Department of Transport (DoT), will be the official transport sponsor of the Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2013. The transport sponsorship entails DoT providing reliable shuttle service between Zayed Sports City, where parking has been allocated for the event, and Al Bateen Executive Airport throughout each day of the Expo.
The free shuttle service is available to all individuals interested in visiting the Abu Dhabi Air Expo. Shuttle buses users are encouraged to park in Zayed Sports City; DoT will then transport visitors to and from Al Bateen Executive Airport at a ten minute intervals.

Since its launch in 2008, DoT has focused on continuously developing and enhancing the coverage and quality of its bus services. The bus office at the Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi currently operates around 650 busses on over 95 service routes, catering to more than fifty million passengers within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi each year.
The second annual Abu Dhabi Air Expo will be taking place from 5th March until 7th March 2013, at Al Bateen Executive Airport, Abu Dhabi’s dedicated business aviation airport.
With its focus on developments and innovation related to non-commercial aircraft, jets, helicopters, pilot training schools, avionics, insurance and financing, and other aspects of the general aviation industry, the three day event is expected to draw over 10,000 visitors, plus major aviation players from across the GCC, Levant, North Africa, and as far afield as Asia and South Africa.
Abu Dhabi Air Expo, which will include nearly 70,000 m² of exhibition space, will showcase over 90 aircraft and bring together over 150 companies offering their products and services.
