Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi will make it even more comfortable for ladies to enjoy the Park’s 43 rides, slides and attractions with a weekly "Ladies Night" starting May 16.

From 8pm until midnight every Thursday in the month of May, the waterpark will be open for females only, while in June the timings will be from 9pm to 1am. Men will not be admitted to the park on the designated Ladies Nights, however, boys eight years old and under will be allowed access along with their female relatives on production of a valid photo ID or birth certificate as proof of age. While Ladies Night was envisioned as part of the Park’s original plan of offerings, it is being rolled out much earlier in order to cater to the demand from female guests.

Speaking about the Park’s latest offering, Mike Oswald, General Manager, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi, said: "In the short while that we have been in operation, the response from people has exceeded all our expectations. Our research shows that there is already a huge demand for a separate ladies-only timing from female guests of Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi and, therefore, we have decided to introduce Ladies Night starting May 16. From our planning stage itself, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi has been very respectful of the heritage and cultural values of the UAE and its people. Not only is this reflected in our Emirati theme and in the story of the little Emirati girl Dana, the ’Legend of the Lost Pearl’, and the Park’s pearl diving attraction, but it also extends to our reception of and facilities for ladies and families, with more than 30 cabanas that can be rented to provide a sheltered and private space for them. Ladies Night featured prominently in our original operations plan and will go a long way towards ensuring the comfort and ease of the Park’s more conservative female guests."
