Hydra Properties, one of the leading real estate developers in the UAE, has announced the launch of the second season of the English reality TV show ‘Hydra Executives - India v/s Pakistan’. The developer, who is also the producer of the pioneering program, announced that filming of episodes for Season 2 will start today (Sunday, July 27, 2008) in Abu Dhabi. The new ‘Hydra Executives’ show will feature two teams of eight entrepreneurs comprised of Indian and Pakistani nationals, who will vie for the top spot within the 15-week competition to bag a USD 1 million business grant. The announcement was made at a launch party held at Al Raha Beach Hotel, where a special screening of ‘Hydra Executives - Season 1’, was also held. Further, the producers have also revealed that the first season of ‘Hydra Executives’ is scheduled to be aired on Showtime and Infinity starting October 2008.

Set to feature contestants belonging to two of the largest expatriate communities in the UAE, ‘Hydra Executives - Season 2’ will be aired on Showtime Arabia and Infinity TV. The show is expected to be packed with drama and cut-throat competition among the contenders, who have been selected by the US and UK contestants from the first season based on their background in real estate, architecture, engineering, sales, marketing and finance. The final 16 will undergo intensive training before being split into two teams to compete and impress the panel of judges, which will include high profile personalities from various industries and fields.

Filming of the ‘Hydra Executives - Season 1’ is down to the last episode with the final contenders - one each from both the British and American teams - going neck and neck for the prestigious title. Included among the first season’s highlights is a guest cameo appearance of Hollywood personalities Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump. The producers revealed that the second season will have more exciting twists, tough challenges and special appearances from a number of high profile Hollywood and Bollywood personalities.
