Come and show that every step counts in embracing a healthy lifestyle. Join thousands to pace up to five kilometres around Yas Marina Circuit in the sixth annual walkathon, Walk 2012 on November 16 this year, just two days after World Diabetes Day.
Walk 2012 encourages a healthy lifestyle by adopting 30-minute brisk walk each day, and is held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, organised in the capital by the Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (ICLDC), with the support of the National Health Insurance Company – Daman.
Doors open at 3pm, for a fun-filled afternoon of interactive family entertainment. Walk 2012 starts at 5pm, and the activities continue until 9pm.
