The Centre of Information Affairs has published a book entitled, "Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan: The Era of Prosperity and Excellence," to document the efforts and achievements of H. H. General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The book analyses in detail the various aspects of political and executive works conducted and encouraged by Sheikh Mohammed, indicating that he has committed himself to the principle that promoting man’s scientific and practical ability continues to be the foundation on which the UAE renaissance has been built.

It also documents the meetings of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, giving prominence to the key decisions taken by the Council to provide education, health, and electricity services. The book quotes Sheikh Mohammed, who is also the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, as saying, "Promoting and appreciating the values of excellence in the government’s performance have reflected the eagerness of the wise leadership, under the guidance of President H. H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to use the most sophisticated methods available in the field of human resources management, with a view to developing their productive capacities, so that this sector will be able to deal with the requirements of comprehensive development and the great growth experienced by the Abu Dhabi emirate in all fields." The book mentions many giant economic projects and initiatives, which came to give prominence to the Abu Dhabi international distinctive status, as a cultural beacon and economic hub.

It tackles some cultural projects promoted and sponsored by His Highness in Abu Dhabi, including the establishment the Louvre and Guggenheim museums, in the Saadiyat Island, in cooperation with France and Germany respectively, in addition to the Paris-Sorbonne University- Abu Dhabi, now in the stage of building a permanent headquarters, as well as the agreement achieved on opening a branch of New York University in this city.

The book exhibits the visits of Sheikh Mohammed and his meeting with heads of states and senior officials in the world, which show the wisdom and success of the UAE foreign policy.
