UAE is participating in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group commencing tomorrow at Tokyo International Forum (Yurakucho), in Tokyo.

Obaid Humaid AlTayer is leading UAE delegation which includes Sultan bin Nasser al Suwaidi, the governor of the UAE Central Bank, Younis Haji Al Khouri, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance (MoF), Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Assistant Undersecretary of International Financial and other experts from ministry of Finance and Central Bank.

The Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group each year bring together central bankers, ministers of finance and development, private sector executives, and academics to discuss issues of global concern, including the world economic outlook, poverty eradication, economic development, and aid effectiveness. Also featured are seminars, regional briefings, press conferences, and many other events focused on the global economy, international development, and the world’s financial system.
