Canon Emirates today announced that it is extending its support to the National Bank of Abu Dhabi’s Sustainability Week. Being held for the first time from 7th to 11th October, the educational week aims to help employees at NBAD gain knowledge about the merits of a more responsible stance. Canon, a leader in imaging solutions, is donating 200 recycled solar-powered calculators to encourage a more sustainable office environment.

During Sustainability Week, NBAD’s employees will take part in a series of events including presentations, workshops, movie screenings and blood donation drives. Moreover, a EWS-WWF panda mascot visit will take place to swap green products for small donations or NBAD Stars (reward points).

The “green” calculators contributed by Canon are partly manufactured from recycled Canon material and driven by solar power, making them a sustainability symbol that complements NBAD’s cause.
