Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank announced that it has been awarded the Gold Category of the prestigious Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award. The award was presented by H.H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE, at a ceremony held in Emirates Palace.

The SKEA award, instituted by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, has been designed to recognize the achievements of organizations that demonstrate a world-class standard in their procedures and operations. The award provides an international benchmark of excellence for participating companies.

Recognising the award ADIB CEO, Trad Al- Mahmoud, said: “We at ADIB feel singularly honored to receive this prestigious award. It comes to acknowledge ADIB’s dedication and efforts in focusing on our customers and providing them with world-class products and services. Winning the Gold Category demonstrates ADIB’s continuous improvements and the significant changes the bank has brought to all of its product and service delivery, in addition to its customer focus during the last two years. We believe in continuous improvement and effective deployment of the Business Excellence Model in our everyday business.”

Over the last three years, ADIB has expanded its branch network to 73 branches and conformed all its products and services to world-class standards. ADIB recently introduced innovative ways of facilitated banking services, such as; new mobile and online services, the unveiling of a new branch concept, improved transaction processes, and has invested heavily in staff training programs. As a result, the bank has achieved over 20 awards and this SKEA award serves to further highlight ADIB’s achievements and continued commitment to excellence.
