His Highness Sheikh Suroor Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan inaugurated on Tuesday Van Cleef & Arpels’ new boutique in Abu Dhabi. The prestigious occasion took place in the presence of Mr. Alban Belloir, Managing Director Middle East and India of Van Cleef & Arpels and Mr. Abdul Hamied Seddiqi, Vice Chairman of Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.
Located at Avenue at Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi’s striking new landmark, the sumptuous 1,624 square feet boutique is the second in the United Arab Emirates’ capital, the first of which is located in Marina Mall.
The new Van Cleef & Arpels boutique opens its doors to the most discerning clientele to enter the fairy tale world of the Maison, offering them the chance to adorn in its exquisite and refined creations. The boutique features three zones; the first showcases an extensive selection of enchanting jewelry that reflects the exceptional craftsmanship perfected by the master jewelers of the Maison: the “Mains d’Or ™”. Ranging from the extraordinary classicism to the most contemporary pieces, the luxurious collections available at the new Abu Dhabi boutique comprise of beautiful jewelry from Oiseaux de Paradis, Socrate, Lotus, Charleston, Palmyre, Snowflake and Flowerlace. The second zone hosts the timepieces, a craft finely mastered by Van Cleef & Arpels which developed distinguished movements and unique complications as executed in the Poetic Wish and Poetic Complications™. Placing special emphasis on dreams and emotions, the Maison introduced a very distinctive interpretation of time: imaginary with the Lady Arpels Feerie watch, romantic with Pont des Amoureux, playfully feminine with Charms and Parisian chic with Pierre Arpels. The third zone is dedicated to welcome Van Cleef & Arpels special clientele in a VIP room that resembles the intimacy and warmth of a Parisian apartment. The VIP room exuberates refinement and elegance in a charming atmosphere, housing unique High Jewelry pieces that reflect the great heritage, savoir-faire and prominent inspirations of the Maison.
The interior of the boutique is designed in powdery hues of pink and mauve that blends harmoniously with contrasting shades of grey, offering a soft and sophisticated décor. Smooth textures and refined materials, including fine leather, silk and velvet together enhance the charm of the new boutique.
