President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has congratulated Emirati shooter Abdulla Sultan Alaryani on winning the gold medal in the R6-50m prone rifle shooting event at the London 2012 Paralympics.

Praising Alaryani’s high performance at the event, His Highness also congratulated the members of the UAE team in London and expressed his best wishes of success for them.

Alaryani scored a total of 694.8 for the competition edging out Spanish silver medalist Juan Antonio Saavedra Reinaldo.

The UAE team dedicated the shooting achievement to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,Their Highnesses, the Supreme Council members and rulers of the emirates, His Highness Gen. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, H. H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council and to the people of the UAE.
