Abu Dhabi will on Wednesday play host to the 10th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2012) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
Organized by the Emirates Falconers’ Club (EFC), the Exhibition will run from the 5th to the 8th of September, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region (Al Gharbia) of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the Chairman of EFC.
The Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee, Board Member of the EFC, and Advisor for Culture and Heritage in the Court of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed Khalaf al Mazrouei, told the media today some 630 exhibitors from 40 countries around the world will display the latest of their equine and hunting products and services.
He said the 2012 ADIHEX had registered dramatic growth in terms of exhibiting space which exceeds 38,000 square meter, the largest in the history of the event.
’’Number of participating companies has doubled more than 15 times since the launch of the first edition in 2003 which attracted only 40 companies thanks to the aggressive media and marketing road shows to promote the largest event of its kind in the world out of Europe,’’ he noted.
