Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), master developer of Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, welcomed students from different universities around the world to learn more about the variety of different tourism offerings in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. During the visits, students are taken to TDIC’s Experience Centre and the Saadiyat Story exhibition at Manarat al Saadiyat, which comprises a variety of fascinating exhibitions, as well as educational models of the company’s various cultural, hospitality, leisure and residential projects. The students were given a tour of the exhibition, during which they were offered insider information into TDIC’s projects, progress of the projects, best environmental practices with a particular emphasis on the cultural institutions of the Saadiyat Cultural District, including the Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
Timothy Flood, Associate Professor of Management and Corporate Communications at the University of North Carolina, offered his impressions of the day: “I am very glad we took the time to visit TDIC. The company does a great job of representing a whole variety of commercial, cultural and environmental projects underway in Abu Dhabi, and their staff went well out of their way to ensure that they conveyed all the information they could about Abu Dhabi and the UAE.”
