The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), the Number One Bank in the UAE, inaugurated a new branch in one of Dubai’s premier residential and shopping neighbourhoods.
NBAD Dubai Marina – JBR Branch brings NBAD services and products to tens of thousands of residents of the prestigious district. Dubai Marina is also an attraction point for thousands of dinners, shoppers and fun seekers. The new NBAD Dubai Marina – JBR branch will offer residents and visitors to the area convenient access to banking services.
Saif Al Shehhi, the Senior General Manager of the Domestic Banking Division of NBAD; Qamber Ali Al Mulla, the Senior General Manager of NBAD’s International Banking Division, and senior executives of the Bank inaugurated the new branch.
“The National Bank of Abu Dhabi’s financial and brand strength allows us to continue to strategically expand its network,” said Suvo Sarkar, the General Manager of Consumer & Elite Banking at NBAD.“Branches serve as the ambassador of our brand, and our new branches allow us to enhance our reach to our customers.”
The NBAD Dubai Marina – JBR Branch, which is next to Amwaj Rotana Hotel, is NBAD’s 15th branch in Dubai, and the Bank’s 117th Branch in the country.
“The National Bank of Abu Dhabi is well represented throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. While we continue to seek strategic locations in the Emirate for expansion, our focus is to expand the network and the brand in other emirates,” said Abdullah Al Hosani, the Head of Branches at NBAD. “The NBAD Dubai Marina – JBR branch highlights our continued strategy to expand in key residential and shopping districts across the Emirates.”
Mr. Hosani added: “NBAD’s growth strategy is to choose locations that are convenient to consumers and also position the Bank’s brand in line with NBAD being the leading and the Number One Bank in the UAE.”
Another strategy in NBAD branch network is guided by the Bank’s commitment to serving the UAE society. This is why NBAD maintains several cash offices in remote areas like the oil exploration areas in the desert. These units provide services to underserved areas.
NBAD has also been at the forefront of groundbreaking concepts in consumer banking. Recently, NBAD opened two branches in Dubai that fundamentally revamp branches by bringing innovative concepts to consumer banking.
In the autumn, NBAD opened two branches in Dubai: in Meadows and on Sheikh Zayed Road. All the new venues are designed on futuristic strategy that introduces the new concept in branch banking.
“NBAD believes that its branches serve a crucial objective in building relationships with consumers and it is only through this relationship that we can serve them with quality and increase our services,” Mr. Sarkar said. “NBAD’s branch expansion would continue with a clear strategy and rational.”
