The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), the Number One Bank in the UAE, has started a promotion that allows NBAD cardholders to win sports utility vehicles (SUV) or luxury travel packages to one of the top destinations in the world.

The NBAD Overseas Spend Campaign, which runs through October 31, enters cardholders’ names into a draw each time they use their NBAD MasterCard Credit or Debit Card for purchases overseas. There are two draws over the campaign period. Each draw gives one cardholder the opportunity to win the grand prize which is a Nissan Patrol SE 2012. The second and third winning cardholders will get luxury travel packages each. Each travel package includes two business class flights to Istanbul including a three-night stay in a five star hotel in this historical city.

“Using the NBAD MasterCard is the most convenient and efficient way to make purchases overseas. It offers cardholders advantageous exchange rates and saves them from the hassle and risks of carrying large amount of cash,” says Navneet Dave, the Head of NBAD Cards. “In addition, cardholders now have the chance to win a great award for simply using their card. The more overseas transactions made by the cardholder would mean more entries in the draw to win the car or a dream vacation.”

NBAD would pick the first winners of each category in September, and another after the conclusion of the promotion.

“We have launched the NBAD Overseas Spend Campaign because we want to reward our esteemed cardholders and continue to make them feel the distinction that comes with holding an NBAD MasterCard credit and debit card,” Mr. Dave said.

NBAD cards are market leaders in benefits they deliver to cardholders. All NBAD Credit cardholders, for instance, automatically earn NBAD Stars on all purchases made on their NBAD Credit Cards. In addition, NBAD Cardholders can earn bonus NBAD Stars at selected Partners that range from travel agents, hotels, restaurants, retailers and more. The NBAD Stars programme is built on the basis of a coalition model so it allows consumers to accumulate Stars not only from NBAD but from its NBAD Stars participating partners as well.
